1. What ages does the Centre cater for?
Little Joey’s is a 30 place service that provides quality care and education to children aged 2- 5 years.
2. What are the Centres operating hours?
Little Joey’s is open from 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday, we are opened during school holidays and close for 2 weeks at Christmas time, we also close during Public Holidays. You will not be charged a fee for the Christmas closure.
3. What meals are provided?
We provide morning tea and afternoon tea, All meals are nutritionally balanced. Parents are asked to provide their child’s lunch which is placed in the fridge on arrival.
4. What do I need to bring
A labelled bag , sun hat, cot-sized bed sheets ( if your child rests), water bottle, nutritious lunch, spare clothes, 3-4 Nappies/pull ups if your child is not independently using the toilet.
5. Is it affordable?
Our daily fee is set competitively relative to other childcare services in the area.

7. Do you offer Start Strong Fee Relief?
Yes, the Start Strong Fee relief is offered to Pre-Schoolers 3-5 years. Your child will be eligible for 4-5 year old fee relief if they turn 4 on or before July 31 2024 or if they turn 3 on or before July 31st for the 3 year old fee relief.
8.What activities will my child be doing?
Your child will be following a routine (see Daily Routine) that is balanced with structured and non structured activities, these will include which small group language , music and fitness groups, craft experiences, News and technology time as well as free play accessing a wide range of resources and play equipment.
9. Do I have to pay for Public Holidays?
Yes, There is still a charge for Public Holidays, so that CCS and Start Strong Fee Relief can be credited to your account on Public Holidays.
10. Do I have to pay if my child doesn’t attend because he/she is sick or is absent for other reasons?
Yes, We hold the placement for your child regardless of whether he/she is attending or not, therefore payments must still be made. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will still cover the percentage you are entitled to up to 42 sick or absent days.
11. How much notice am I required to give, if my child is leaving the centre?
A minimum of two weeks written notice is required and the child must attend the final day unless a doctor’s certificate is provided.
12. Can I change days if my circumstances change?
Yes a day change is fine If we have vacancies on the day you would like to change or extend to. 2 weeks notice needs to be given if you wish to drop a day.
13. Do you cater for food/milk allergies?
Absolutely, we provide soy milk and will ensure your child’s dietary needs are met, Our educators are trained in anaphylaxis and allergy emergencies.
